We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Leeds, a category B men's prison, housing males aged 21+.
This role will work alongside the Integrated Mental Health Team and focus on patients within the segregation Unit. At HMP Leeds, the segregation unit is a smaller unit which holds a maximum of 21 prisoners. It is utilised to support those who struggle on normal population and it is a last resort for those who are disruptive, at risk to themselves or others, or in need of protection. A Segregation Nurse at HMP Leeds delivers safe, person‑centred care to individuals located within the prison.
Hours
37.5 hours working Monday - Sunday, shift pattern covering days (9.5hrs). Shifts are 8am-6pm.
Weekend and bank holidays scheduled throughout the year, no nights.
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £49175 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
