We have an exciting opportunity a General Practitioners to join our Healthcare team at HMP Millsike. HMP Millsike is a state of the art, male category C prison, based in Full Sutton, near York. Within this role you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team including 1 other GP and 3 prescribers. You will be delivering clinics to support Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Misuse acute needs and long term conditions. Clinics will also involve completing admin and patient referrals to internal and external pathways.

Wednesday: 08:30-17:00
Thursday: 08:30-17:00
Friday: 08:30-17:00

This is a part time role working 24 hours or 6 sessions per week.

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary up to £125,600 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

During my GP training the part which I enjoyed the most was the out-of-hours (OOH) element with Harmoni (which later became Care UK, now the Practice Plus Group). With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get. I was very well supported by Practice Plus Group during this time and was able to excel and make a mark.
