Administrator

• As the first point of contact for the healthcare team, you will actively speak to hospitals, GP surgeries, solicitors and others, arranging external appointments for patients, referrals etc
• Book patients in for appointments
• Use the prison system to advise of any healthcare related issues, such as limited duties or illness
• Work closely with the wider prison team to arrange hospital appointments, escorts and bed watch. You will also ensure that prison officers have up to date clinic lists 
• Update trackers, systems and spreadsheets for hospital appointments, admissions, consent forms etc
• General admin duties such as scanning, post, minute taking and stock check

• Have extensive administration experience, ideally within a healthcare / medical setting, such as hospitals, GP surgery etc
• Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with lots of phone based work
• Any healthcare knowledge and experience would be a bonus
• SystmOne knowledge would be beneficial
• Be confident using data and maintaining spreadsheets, so excel skills are essential
