We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrists to join our healthcare team at HMP Brixton, a category B Prison located in South London. The site houses around 750 male patients aged 18+, many of whom have complex health needs.

We are looking for a dynamic Psychiatrist, who can be flexible in the way they work, and adapt quickly. You must be able to build a rapport with both officers and patients, as well as working along side the matrons to lead the teams.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week

20% of the role can be worked from home for admin or CPD, which must be worked on a Thursday

Salary

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £185,000 per annum - depending on experience.

How will we support you?

You will be part of a team of 20 plus experienced and supportive Consultant psychiatrists
You will be able to attend monthly Consultant's meeting and 1:1 clinical supervision.
